Spend the first day and night in Ha Long Bay on our overnight boats before heading to CASTAWAYS ISLAND for watersports, rock climbing and general awesomeness!

Swim, sunbath, kayak & relax on the top deck of our boats as you take in the amazing scenery of Ha Long Bay and then on day 2 it is off to your own little slice of PARADISE. Day 2 on Castaways we get your adrenaline firing with high speed tubing & rock climbing with qualified instructors to help you get to the top. There are also kayaks on Castaways so if you would like to explore the area you can at you own pace.
All meals are included and those with dietary requirements can be catered for with advanced notice.

Have a quick stop at a pottery village, on your way to Ha Long Bay city
Board your boat at as the sun passes over the yard arm and settle in as the cruise begins with a delicious lunch.
Cruise through some of the best parts of Ha Long Bay as the stereo's playing wicked tunes and the crew take care of your every need.
Jump from the boat and take a dip in the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay before kayaking through caves and into hidden lagoons that will take your breath away.
Continue your cruise further into the heart of Ha Long Bay before mooring for dinner and an epic party on your boat.
Day 2 starts with breakfast and a cruise through the less touristy Lan Ha Bay as you make for Castaways Island. The good times will roll with an afternoon of tubing, rock climbing, cool beats and beach games.
A BBQ dinner is prepared then devoured before a night of parting that you will either not forget or never remember.
Tuck into an early breakfast, eggs cook to your liking, as you will be leaving the island at approximately 8am.
Recount stories from the nights before as you cruise back through the bays and get your final amazing shots of the stunning scenery in the morning as you properly appreciate it for the unique seascape that it is.
Brunch will be served on the boat as you are cruising back towards Ha Long city where you will arrive late morning.
Jump back on the bus that will take you back to Hanoi and drop you off outside the hostel at approximately 4.30pm.

What should I bring?
What do I need to bring? Your Passport, swimming gear and a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries, warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March. Also bring your appetite and a sense of humor! Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms with your other unwanted baggage......
How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft overnight bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc.
What days do you go? The Trip departs everyday from either the Hanoi Backpackers' Hostel Original at 7am or the Downtown Hostel at 7:30am.
Where do I meet the tour? Tours depart from either Hanoi Backpackers' Hostel Original, 48 Ngo Huyen Lane and the Hanoi Backpackers' Hostel Downtown, 9 Ma May Street in Hanoi,please check departure location and times on the tour itinerary you are booking.
Do I have to reconfirm my place on the tour? Yes, you must reconfirm your place on the tour 24 hours before the tour departs either at the Travel Desk in the foyer of the hostel or via email. If you are arriving to the hostel less than 24 hours before the departure time of the tour full payment must be made to confirm your booking.
What do I eat? Our emphasis is on fresh food wherever possible and our meals are nutritious and varied. If you are vegetarian or do not eat seafood we can cater for you, but if you have very specific dietary needs you may need to provide your own food, please discuss this at time of booking.
How fit do I have to be? Ours are active tours so a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability is needed. If you enjoy kayaking through caves, swimming in sheltered bays or rock climbing in national parks and directly experiencing the environment then our tours are perfect for you. If you have any doubts about your suitability for our tours, please check with our Reservations Department before making a booking.
NOTE: Activities vary in duration and grade depending on the trip chosen.
Do I have to participate? Part of the enjoyment of our tours is bonding with a group of like-minded adventurers so we make them active and hands on. Full involvement is normally one of the highlights of the trip but no one can force you to do something you don't want to do.
