Situated in Pham Ngu Lao Street, a quiet cozy street during the day and a popular dining and recreational destination come nightfall, the Hue Backpackers Hostel is perfectly located to explore the many sights that Hue has to offer.

Many of the tourist buses coming from Hanoi or Hoi An drop off within 1km of the hostel, and the train station is only 2km away. A taxi from any of the bus drop offs should cost no more than 15,000VND while a taxi from the station should set you back approximately 30,000VND.

Phu Bai Domestic Airport is about a 25 minute drive from the centre of Hue. Airport Shuttles ($2.50US/person) and Taxis ($8-$10US) are available from the arrivals terminal.

Be aware some shuttle and taxi drivers, operating from the airport, train and bus stations accept commissions for taking unsuspecting travellers to budget hotels that claim to work with us.
It is hard not to notice our bright yellow facade and hostel sign, so if the shuttle bus or taxi stops directly outside a hotel that doesn't hit you in the face you have been taken to the wrong address.
